One of the finest hotels in terms of service. Some rooms and areas have started to show some age though. Employees are helpful and offers good service. Food quality and taste is very good. Good for corporate events considering the large hall without obstructing pillars.

Stayed here with family and friends from 30th Dec22 to 2nd Jan23.After checking in which was done efficiently we went to the restaurant for lunch. Order was placed and after waiting for 2 long hours we came to know that our food order has not been placed and we have to wait for another 1 hr. Imagine our plight with hungry kids who were waiting since 2hrs. And you call it a 5 star restaurant. Breakfast spread was also not up to the mark. Breakfast on 1st morning was hilarious. There was scarcity of food or kitchen staff I don't know ,but most of the containers were empty except for few bakery items. We had to take out cutlery and napkins ourselves. For a simple dosa I had to wait for more then an hour. Restaurant staff were rude and clueless. Housekeeping cleaned the room so efficiently that they took away all the towels leaving only one and when we asked they said they don't have towels imagine.... Only good thing was the 31st night banquet. Worst stay ever especially the restaurant staff and their service. Never will recommend to anyone.

Outstanding Customer service and care.

Visited Guwahati during December 2022.
Spacious, hygienic and comfortable rooms.
Fine dining experience witha chef (Biswajit Mistri) adding his personal touch the dishes. He was reaching out to almost all the guests. He did serve few authentic Asamese dishes.
Nice ambiance.
Reception desk is managed by very polite and customer centric staff (Chandramma).
Overall courteous staff. Wonderful experience

We went to stay there from 30 dec to 2 jan. Hear me out, IT WAS THE WORST. When we reached the hotel, we went ahead to the restaurant, and placed our order. After 2 hours of waiting for the order, they informed us that our order was 'misplaced' and that we required to wait for another 30 minutes to receive our order. After that, we needed to get out and go outside to eat lunch. On 1st January, we went to the restaurant for breakfast, and there was SCARCITY OF FOOD. We were told that they can't make items for breakfast such as puri, dosa etc. Only the bakery section, that too in a limited amount was available. Late at night, we decided to get few appetizers. It literally took them one hour to deliver 3 simple items. The soup was horrible. It literally felt like salt on hot water. Rest of the staff expect the restaurant were quite fine. We had already visited the place 3 times before, but ever since vivanta left the taj community, the service is at its doom.

One of the premium properties in Guwahti to Stay and relax for business travelers and family or a couple trip. It’s around 30km away from the Airport but you can enjoy the weather and ride in between. I went there for exhibitions. Vivanta’s Staff members and hospitality was top notch. Slight issue with their banquet hall washrooms as their sensors was not working properly, So I have informed them hope they fixed that. But I will highly recommend this hotel to stay next time when you visit Guwhati 🥂

Not much of a very happy experience! Room seemed like having stinky smell of dampness. The room size was good. Service was not too good, couldn't get anyone to fetch our luggage! Just ok experience

We had all gathered for a medical seminar meet. The seminar 2as conducted from my organization.
The vegetarian food was good, though it need some improvement. Can't tell much about nonveg since I didn't take that evening.
There was a guy serving tea/coffee and cookies to dignitaries there. I had a cold, so I just requested the serving guy for a tea which he denied straight forward, saying tea is not available. Even after that he was seen serving tea/coffee to the other people. I again asked, then he told, that his boss has instructed not to give tea to anyone thereafter. Again he was serving tea/coffee to others.
Disgusted with this I approached 1 guy from our organisation management who ensured me a tea!
What's this attitude? What's this behaviour of staff?
I never misbehaved with anyone nor said anything bad to anyone. Can management enquire to those staff to change the disgusting behaviour?

Went for a casual evening tea. The food and tea was fantastic. We sat at lawn side outdoor table. There were innumerable mosquitoes roaming around us. May be the hotel management has to invest for pest control within and out side vicinity.
