OYO Shiva Guest House

I had a terrible experience at this Hotel. At the starting only, the Reception staff denied us the check-in saying that the prices at which the online booking was done is not correct. He however asked us to come offline to the hotel cancelling the online booking. The reception staff was not only very rude but also non-cooperative. They didn't even provide us the drinking water. The bedsheets and towel was very dirty and not washed in a very long time. AC was not working as well. This hotel is located at the outskirts of the city and you may feel difficulty in commuting. My overall suggestion would be not visit the Hotel as it lacks at every single attribute of what a hotel stay should be like.

Worst experience that I ever had... I Booked hotel amount of Rs. 1590, whereas when I went there they have asked me to pay amount of Rs 2020. When I told that I will pay online directly to Oyo they have denied and told that they will reject my booking. Also room quality is very bad... So small room... Water is not available in the bathroom. I don't know how maximum review is in favour of the hotel which I also followed to choose this hotel. I think these all are from fake ID Or else comments are manipulated somehow. I will not recommand at all. Also I will raise complaint to consumer forum against Oyo as well as Shiva guest house. I have all the snapshot to prove that.

I ordered for 2x delux room but they offered my the smaller room charged me ₹1000 more even the AC was not in proper manner it was the worst experience of mine with Oyo in Guwahati... really disappointed with your service Oyo

Worst experience ever..We paid for breakfast inclusive room and in 4 nights stay not a single time they give breakfast to us,.When we went out for some work, Hotel manager entered our room, took bath and cleaned himself with my towel. It was also confirmed by hotel staff. Water from taps was full of insects.

The hotel owner offer to pay extra i.e 1100 instead of 650..he tell me it's very low amount

The guest house reception person asked extra money. And he didn’t took money in official bank account. It’s a mislead done by oyo showing low price and when we reach the staff charges extra money. With no option I have to pay money. This happened twice with me. It’s a clear miss lead by oyo.

Worsed experience ever. After booking online at Rs 599 (and if I pay advance I have to pay only 480) when I reached hotel they demand me 1200 for the same room they simply denied to give me room.
