Resort Location, Their Planning and over all initiative is really Great but there is major lack of maintenance within the Resort - ( Like: Food, Water supply, Rooms, Surroundings etc.) which are most essential. However we have enjoyed the trip.

It is a perfect place to visit and enjoy the beauty of Sundarbans! The village is so calm and people are great, the host was very accommodating and helpful. We were provided with authentic and hygienic meals. I would recommend it to anyone planning to visit this area and stay for a few days to take in the full experience!

It's a perfect getaway retreat in Sunderbans. So calm and quite, and an amazing opportunity to explore and understand the local food and practices. Everything was perfect and I would define love to come back :)

This Homestay in Jharkhali definitely administers a blend of village life's simplicity along with amenities city people need to survive. We booked 2 double occupancy (which can easily be used by 3 people like we did) and one dormitory (easily 8 people can be accommodated there). All of their rooms offer a nice lake view along with simplicity, greenery, fresh air, tranquility and an ambience of complete detoxification from City hazardous life. You can thoroughly enjoy the momentary freedom and soaking the beauty of countryside. They extensively offer a high quality food package all over the day, many variations in sufficient quantities, you will get to taste fresh fish, prawns, and crabs. As they have always served home cooked delicacies you would never regret overeating, food has always been served in abundance. Next morning after breakfast we went for boat safari, don't know which God to thank for this but we got to see the best creation of mother nature, 🐅 in the first attempt. That made the trip more Complete for us. Only room for improvement is,little bit of cleanliness is required in Dormitory and Dormitory's washroom. Else you will always be served with best quality of everything you will ask for

Excellent hospitality and awesome food! Special shout out to Siddharth who looked after us very well. However the bathroom needs improvement and Running hot water should be provided . Softer mattresses on the beds are necessary

The property really carries the true sense of its name 'The Earthen Retreat'. The location, ambiance, construction, people, service, food, hospitality and assistance - all were simply excellent. Further, constraints of getting mobile coverage has been the bless in disguise to really detox one's body and soul. We termed the place as 'Earthen Detox Home'. The place is devoid of polluted air, noise or crowd. We could really listen the nature and feel it within us, learn so many things by unfolding our inner sense and real value of being one-self.
Apart from property and location or service, the another great feeling and WOW factor was the hidden (behind the certain) noble mission of this property management. We came to learn and witness it that, the profit earned by this property is fully dedicated and spend for the social benefit of the locality including surrounding 4 -5 villages. There is the rural-school (Pathshala) associated with this property run by this profit percentage, along with the mid-day meals for all the innocent cute little kids (around 85 kids come and study here from this and surrounding villages), their clothes, books, basic medications etc. Also the property runs an NGO which actively works for the socio-cultural development of the place. This was really a surprising fact for me as I was completely unaware of this noble cause the property owners and every single person working at this property, selflessly devoting for this thankless divine humanitarian contribution. We felt be blessed by God being the direct/indirect part of this noble cause, thanks to God.
Overall, the experience is really awesome, provided one has to be open to welcome the real and natural habitat of an earthen village. Last but not the least, the host of the property provides you good organic and fresh foods, and that too in plenty in quantity - sometimes you may need to say 'Sorry! No more space in stomach to accommodate :-D'. Really enjoyed each bite of them, honestly! God bless them!

For 2 days I felt like home .. I have welcomed by beautiful nature here .. Food quality was so good and frankly it was beyond my expectations.. Highly recommended for nature lovers and to whom who wants to feel the roots of village of bengal :-)

Resort is as bad as it looks, Electricity troubles when there is loadshedding, especially at night. There is no electricity voltage at all, The worm is so much that one has to sleep at night, Dirty Bath Water Dirty Drinking Water Room Bathroom Smells, Worst experience of my life I have never seen such a bad resort, Bugs Resort
