Zara Homestay Santiniketan (Near Viswa Bharati)

It was overall a wonderful stay.

* Great decoration and Shantiniketani ambience
* Rooms are clean and spacious, well maintained.
* Water purification systems at every floor
* Foods are homestyle, great tasty and healthy, although little bit costly

👎:
* Not a walking distance for aged people, also irritating for frequent outing even for fit persons as the location is far from the main campus and market. Only hope is personal car or pre-arranged Toto service.
* Ground floor bathrooms are little unhygienic may be due to outside drain smell
* Restaurant is at top floor instead of usual ground floor

Stuffs are very good, they are maintaining a clean hygienic ambience . Wonderful experience. Will recommend to everyone. Food quality in the hotel is average but that is not bad also. Here also they are serving in very traditional way,that is amazing. Taste they can improve easily otherwise all good.

Me & my cousin stayed 2 nights during Durga Pujo & booked this hotel. They have a great gesture, they called us before the check in day and reconfirmed our stay. Service was truly up to the mark and satisfactory. The room was pretty clean and so the wash room. Only we missed the tea/coffee maker in the room. They have an upper floor restaurant adjacent to the terrace. Luchi/Puri Aloo sabji, egg toast, butter toast, tea-coffee are available for breakfast and on request they serve in the room. Other Bengali items and few Chinese dishes are available for snacks & dinner. We overall enjoyed the quality of the food, fresh, homely and reasonably priced. Though the rice quality was moderate. Hotel manager and other staff were courteous, polite and very responsive. They have a cosy seating arrangement on the terrace.

They provide pick up and drop off facilities from Bolpur station/bus stop on a chargeable basis. The toto driver Buddhadev took us wandering around Shantiniketan and he was being so polite and helpful. However, next time we wish to get any room on the upper floor, as last time we had the room on ground floor.

It's near to campus and the locality is quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended

A nice stay at Santiniketan. Near Viswabharati campus, so location is very good. I must say every rooms are very good and well maintained. We had two rooms there, one double bedded and one triple bedded. Both are great. Attached washrooms are clean. Attached balcony with each room. Staffs are very well behaved and helpful. Water purifier is there, in each floor. Only they have to improve in everything, is their food quality. I think they are capable of rectifying this just in a moment with improvement in the taste of food and allowing the AC on in their air conditioned restaurant. Overall I must say, you can spend your weekend there with a great comfort and safe atmosphere. I recommend it (with 5 star), and have a wish to visit this place again. ☺️

Staffs are very well behaved and helpful. Water purifier is there, in each floor. I give 4 star instead of 5 star only because of food quality, compared with little high price tag. They have to improve food quality.

I have visited Zara Homestay with my family a few days ago. Room, Food, Ambience & specially last but not the least staffs behaviour are really remarkable. Their co operation is really outstanding. I strongly suggest for any body who wants to visit Shantiniketen they must stay here to get the best experience regarding hospitality and others.

The overall stay was amazing.The staff service was extremely good. They were very polite and well behaved. The rooms were also very comfortable. Moreover the hotel provided us with their Toto driver, Kiran who took us out on sight seeing. Even he was extremely polite and showed us all the tourist spots with utmost dedication.

I've spent 2 nights in zara with my family. The rooms are spacious, clean and the attached bathroom was also very much clean. The behavior of staffs are also very good. Wifi and water purifier are available in every floor. They have provided toto service for pickup with a reasonable price... The toto driver's (subir saha) behavior are also very good and helpful.
