Excellent place for one who love trekking and nature. River canyon and Rainbow waterfall trekking was indeed one of the most unique experience.I loved every bit of this trek and rappelling and the guides were also very co- operative. I am so recommending this to all of you.

Yelbong is famous for river canyon trekking, surrounded by hidden waterways and lofty waterfalls in the forests just like the movies and it is the main reason its gaining quick popularity among the adventure lovers as well.

Only canyon treak in west Bengal as well as India . It takes 3h from NJP and 2.30 from New Mal junction.
Very amazing place for adventure. One of the best place ever ❤. Goal chetris home stay treat us like e guests. People can enjoy camp Fire besides Rumti river as well as hill top. Every one can fishing 🎣 here.

Now we explain about our tour first day we treat 4 km to reach yealbong. Take a camp Fire on night. Next day morning at 7 am we will treak for river canyon with goal chetri and Suren sharma (a young champ) . We were freezed when we went through the water. We fill like a Bayer grills. Same day we take a lunch beside Rumti river hill top and go for Rambo water falls.

We have a great experience here.The service of "Francis Rai" is very warmly and homely.Every adventurous loving people should go there.

Now I'm lying comfortably on the bed thinking that it was a tough day but one of the best experiences of a life we have face lots of trouble to reach yelbong,. extremely bad road... but our organizer help us lots.. specially francis bhiyaa..

Yelbong is a small village on the Kalimpong hills, explored by Francis Rai. You can reach this place in generally 3 hours from either Siliguri or New Mal Junction station. Take the road towards Bagrakot which is 18 km from both these places and from here, Yelbong is merely 7 Km away. Yelbong is Hidden by the valleys of Kalimpong and the fog of the Himalayas, Yelbong is an unknown gem in North Bengal that boasts of an adrenaline-filled adventure strewn with waterfalls, deep jungles, a paradise for Butterfly lovers, River Camping, Trekking & the best of this is the River Canyon Cave. The cave 2 km long and this is the only river canyon cave which is 2km long in north Bengal

Yelbong is a small village in kalimpong district, West Bengal.. Basically those who love to trekking and also nature lover, this place is ideally for them.. Rainbow waterfall & River Canyon is main attractions of this village. Only avoid raini season.. otherwise all time can visit or can trekking.. This place is explored by Francis da... I'll suggest to stay at riverside.. and obviously if its possible in ("Punam ki raat") moonlight days.. I think everyone remember these days lifetime....
