Moodalamane Mysuru

This is cute house with 2 large bedrooms, 1 kitchenette and a large covered living area/balcony. The hosts were very cordial and truly cared about your comfort and well being during the stay. The location was quaint with all amenities you need with just a short 5 min walk. The neighbourhood reminded us about good old Bangalore - about 20-25 yrs ago. We would recommend Moodala mane to anyone who wants use Mysore as a base and travel around.

This is the best place ever to stay in Mysore. Extremely clean and comfortable. Being a staunch mysorean, I was looking for a place which feels like home. After staying here, we don't feel like staying anywhere else. The hosts are the best. They make it a point to come and check on us daily. Will highly recommend this place if you are looking for a homely feeling.

This is one place which will remain etched in my mind forever.this homestay without doubt one of the favorite homestays I stayed till today.
It’s a great place.Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience. the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for Vinaya Kamath and his Wife,who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!

This was the best decision we took for our Mysore trip, this itself was a spot to visit for us. It was no less than our own house. This would be the bestest suggestion i could give u to stay in mysore. Super clean, spacious, feels like home, amazing hospitality from the owners.

We stayed in Moodalamane for a night (on a transit to Ooty) and it was awesome. As mentioned by many and which was also our key criteria... the cleanliness. The entire facility is very clean. Hospitality was very good and caring. Perfect for a family stay.

This home stay is home away from home. Had great time here. all necessary arrangements were fantastic. Owner was really kind hearted and helpfull.. provided trasport deatils and guided well to visit near by best places as well. Will recommend this stay. 5 Stars for me.

Hospitality and neatness. Really nice stay.

Provided everything what we required in a planned manner. Though we seniors felt difficulty in climbing up , we forgot once we enter the hall like open space. Kudos to Mrs & Mr. Kamath for their efforts.

Reviewing this homestay as a homestay not a hotel.. Location is very good, very accessible to the city and to Chamundi hills. The rooms (and bathroom) are clean and airy. The highpoint is the outside sitting area, well lit and breezy . Very hospitable host who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Ma'am would make the neer dosas, chutney, sambar etc and bring it up for us. They definitely treat you like extended family. For a longer stay ( which we did), one can use the washing machine, cooking gas and utensils. The only thing I found slightly difficult were the staircase, but that is because of my knee inflammation etc...

Would definitely recommend for fellow travellers.
