Malemanehilltop homestay

The place was very chill and good, A perfect destination for those who love hills and forest
Rooms:
Decent room stay with clean bathroom
Food:
Excellent food and service, loved the food a lot, especially it was like authentic Karnataka home food
Tourist places:
It has nearby trekking spots and falls
Travel:
The tuff place to reach, so go early to reach the room
From Bangalore reach kottighara village and then take an auto for 400 and reach

Worth the stay and great experience in the hilltop forest stay

***I'll share my views after a stay with friends. ***
Pros: Rooms are clean and neat washrooms and hot water availability is also good.
Cons:
1. No proper facilities available within the homestay
2. No activities available
3. Only bon fire camp
4. Food is average with limited or less number of dishes
5. Breakfast served was Pulyogre and Kadubu (Similar to idli but local dish)
6. Lunch was Ghee rice and veg kurma, and for non veg it's just a chicken sukka or dry and one gravy. Rice and rasam and curd rice.
7. Dinner is just the same ( Same rasam), chapati, veg kurma and for non vegetarian chicken sambar with a counting number of chicken pieces.

I would definitely not recommend it for the price range. We paid 2300/ person and it was too much. They take advantage of people who booze and they know people will not have an idea of what they had mostly. So they'll prepare non-veg items less. When asked in the morning they simply ignore and say it was there. And who will go to a homestay or resort to have Pulyogre when we can have it at home the same?

The owner of the property Shiva is very bad 😔 not even one facility n activity for the guest and the other guy Harsha we booked through him he is very bad they are only for money and not worth

Alcoholic owner very worst behavior attitude is very bad went through Harsh Bangalore agent but service is very very bad promised so many amenities but not even food is good please don't go there its a nightmare

The location of homestay is very beautiful. Nice ambience. Good hospitality by the host with very delicious food, comfy beds and clean ... Manger Ranjit was very kind also Owners were helpful in all the corners. Must visit place.

Great location and services. Food is awesome very authentic, home style food, less oil, but very tasty. Ranjit, Shiva are very cooperative and they are very helpful. In the rain just be careful of leeches 😀. You need to park your park your vehicle at the bottom and need to walk around 💯 meters. Climate is awesome. Definately recommend for a peaceful stays with nature, fresh air, for couple of days.
