Pazhassi Raja Museum

DOV: 11April2012 'Pazhassiraja museum' is located in Manathvady, Wayanad. This is a great place to visit if you love history. It contains various weapons used by Pazhassiraja and his soldiers including swords and bows and arrows. It also contains different utensils used during Pazhassi period. There is also a garden outside where kids can play. Also there are historical details including the report prepared by Malabar collector containing the fall of Pazhassi. It also contains the place where he was buried.

Full Day Recommendation: You have 4.5 Hours of journey from first to last - So if u have time split the same across 2 days

4. Pazhassiraja Museum (Evening)

The memorial made in the memory of Veera Pazhassi Raja and its maintained by State archeology.
Inside the memorial, there is an art gallery where the work of known artist Raja Ravi Varma is one display.
Its open in all days except national holidays and on Hartal days.

Great scenic view, with a good staff maintaining a small but nice garden, a museum displaying heritage and the way of living was in Wayanad. One can spend about an hour here.

One of the best place in mananthavady town , lots of old archaeological items are here . It is in the heart of the town . Maintained well garden

It's ok to visit once. Not such a great place.

Not worth the money I spent i think this place is for “ Those who love history".
But I think they will to regret it!! ;).
Its like a park with nothing. And for taking photos we have to pay extra fee's.
For me it's not worth the money and there's nothing too see much -_-.

Well maintained place. Maximum 30 minutes can be spent here. No good roads to the place
