One of the best places to watch the evening aarti on the ghats of ganges. You can also ride on boats in day time and enjoy the beauty of the ghats. There are different shops to buy puja artifacts.

Dr rajendra prasad ghat is a ganga river bank just like all the other banks of Varanasi.
The ambiance of this ghat is very good.
It is really hard to compare one ghat with another to be honest.
The beauty of each ghat owes to mother ganga.
It is utmost importance of every visitor as well to keep the ghats clean and avoid littering at all costs.

Very very crowded during evening. Boat ride are also highly mismanaged. What we did, paid 100 rs per person to local guy who had made arrangement only for sitting over the roof of one small temple to watch ganga aarti. Its better that way than sitting in crowd or on boat.

नमामि गंगे ❤🙏🏻
The place is heart touching at the maha aarti time in evening. 😍
A large number of gathering can be seen at that time and the sound of chants and other music instruments surrounds the ghat.

The perfect way to see all the ghats in Varanasi is - boat Tour. Agents will come to you when you will be nearby ghats and negotiate with you, make sure that before riding. but again, to see 130 ghats and their beauty, you must have this in Varanasi.

Situated beside the great Dashaswamedh ghat and most picturesque after Darbhanga ghat, Especially blue water with Lord Shiva painted, looks amazing. Boat tours, aarti, local market, man mandir ghat - this is like the hub of all ghats.

Apart from Dashaswamedh ghat, grand Aarti also takes place at this ghat every evening. Dr. Rajendra Prasad was the First President of India (1950- 1962) and to honor him, this Ghat is named after him.
