Not developed and preserved for the purpose of tourism. You will encounter more monkeys than men. The walls have been sullied by visitors. However one finds most vibrant bougainvilleas near the fort. The fort has an association with the great Hindi poet Nirala.

Ancient fort can pass some peaceful hours but have monkeys , they dont create any problem at all. Dont visit alone(for females) and dont visit after 5:00 pm. As nobody will be there.

Dalmau Fort and Dalmau Ganga Ghat are very beautiful places to visit, where you get a different kind of peace and relaxation, the melodious sound of the flowing water of the Ganges, the chirping sound of birds, the cool breeze blowing all around. And greenery, where you will experience a different kind of peace, must visit Dalmau Ganga Ghat and Dalmau Fort once
