great view and scenic beauty . Early morning is the Best time to visit so that you can have mesmerizing view of sunrise from hill top although lack of lighting could be challenging , carry torch with you...trekking level is moderate

Nice place for a weekend outing with friends or family. Just 2 hours drive from Bangalore. Just park the car at the bottom and have a nice trek to the top. Amazing view from the top, be careful though if you bring any eatables the Monkey gang will follow you and may try to grab your food. Better don't take any eatables on the top.

◽Peaceful place. This is one of the least explored trekking place near Bengaluru.
◽Start hiking early in the morning
◽Hiking trail is easy to find and there are steps to reach the top. It's an easy trek. Beginners can easily try this.
◽There is a temple ad a lake in the hill.
◽This place needs good maintenance.

Wonderful trekking experience.. For beginners bit difficult trek... Once u reach the top... Amazing view n beautiful experience... Nice food at sarvana hotel in the town... Train accessibility is good to n fro from Bangalore to the place. Wwwwear comfortable shoes n dress.... Lot of mosquitoes.. Rain gear if rainy season... Carry sufficient water for total of 3-4hrs of trek... U can spend some time on top of hill.

It was a wonderful experience climbing the fort . We started early morning to see sunrise from the hilltop , it is one of the remarkable experience . Early morning during winter was challenging and breathtaking. You have more places to explore here , the hanging rock and the huge lamp on the top view makes this place unique .

Lesser crowd and full fun
A must visit, just 58 mins from Electronic City. 1 hour 15 mins walk from bottom point till top temple.
Peak Elevation is 900 meters
Try to start before 6am to view Sunrise
Bring your own food, as nothing much available near by
Minimum water 1 litre per person

Less crowd and small 3km, 1hr hike to top. Have breakfast at murugan idli shop by 6 30am and reach the base by 7.

The place is dirty and no place to rest. Should have been preserved. If you are enthusiastic about treaking this place will disappoint you. Very little of the fort is left but the best part is Locals are super friendly me being a Non Tamil guy(I am from Karnataka) was able to communicate with locals as most them spoke kannada.
