Haripur King Palace

Very Very Beautiful place. Though it doesn't have a much to see but it's very beautiful,The open green field is one of the beauty ❤️ With the king's fort.

Nice place but need some necessary action for its tourist attraction.

Nice historical and heritage site to visit in Mayurbhanj. The King's palace has very beautiful carvings on stone, which reflects the culture of our land. The place is very peaceful and good for family visit. This is present inside a village. Visit this place.

The fort was named after King Harihar Bhanj. The place was encircled by river Budhabalanga from three sides with a route straight to Puri on one side.
In 1508, the Mughals had invaded many parts of Orissa. The provincial kings preferably hunted for places lying close to river, hills and dense forests.
Protected by a river from three sides, Haripurgarh fort was of strategic importance in view of its geographical location. This is perhaps the reason the kings had set up their capital at the place.
There is archeological evidence that the raj durbar started functioning at Haripurgarh since 1770.

Historic place. Only temples are there. King's Palace is destroyed. Only foundation can be noticed.

Placed inside a village.was hard to find the location in gmap hence we kept asking people and reached the place.good place to see the old temple and architecture.place is a playground for photography.
