Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves

One of the most adventurous and beautiful place to visit near Bhuvaneshwar. Large cutting of rocks and sculpture on it will mesmerize you. It also has a Jain temple at the very top of hill. The whole city can be viewed in one frame from the hill top. Loved this place.

Beautiful ambience. (1) Winter visit is recommended. Bhubaneswar is known for its humidity. Even in winter you will feel the humidity.

(2) The entry ticket is ₹20/-. Only online payment (Debit/Credit/UPI). There is a sign board holds QR Code. Just scan through any qr code scanner app, that will redirect you to payment gateway. (Avoid black ticket)

Car parking fee- ₹30-50/-

I went during rain and the experience was amazing. When you reach the top, you will feel like you are on top of the world. Really amazing view. Lots of apes and monkeys here so beware of them. Also there is a Jain Temple here, if you wish to visit you can go. Ticket price is Rs. 20 and will be bought by scanning a QR code and then downloading the ticket. Caves are small but grip is fine so don't worry about being slipping. Also there are many places which are hidden from the public so as a couple you can easily have some good times there.

A Heritage of ODISHA located just the road apart is a must visit place. I visited here in the month of October 2022 and the temperature was good. Sufficient parking is available at affordable Rs. 50 per car.
The view from the hill top is simply outstanding. Do not forget to carry water as on top you won't get it.

One of the famous places in Odisha. Well known for its architecture which is carved into a beautiful destination where someone can recognise the brilliant skills which were possessed by the ancient architectures. Must visit during the winter time as you have to climb the rocks to the top for a perfect scenic view of nature....

Really amazing experience for historical architecture loving people. Rest people may feel this place boring. Morning hours (7 to 9 am) is best to visit this place. Caves looks amazing in morning sunlight.

Very much important with respect to history. Well maintained by Odisha government. Need 3-4 hour to cover both the sites. The atmosphere was pleasant and calm. One can experience meditation in the cave. Must visit.
