Famous Pune sculptor Deepak Dhopate has made this seven tonne statue out of bronze metal. Shiva Srishti, which tells the history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, is also being realized in the premises of this statue. Architect Dheeraj Deshmukh has also beautified the square around the statue of Lord Shiva. This structure has been inspired by Pratapgad fort.
