I love the mandir because of its different design of architecture. It is very popular in dubrajpur. A park near the mandir is also situated. Inside the temple there is a big stone that is regarded as God Shiva. Some days ago many of my friends came here for a picnic. I watched the mama vagne pahar that is situated behind the temple. There is a nice climate and look. I have come here for many times. And I think it's a place to stay cool in love situation. It mostly takes 5 rupees to visit the interior. It has a very big temple and a resting place beside the temple. Here water facility is available but I didn't see any toilet here. It has no wheelchair accessibility. Besides the temple you can enjoy streetfoods (I especially recommend Basanta Hindu Hotel).

The place is being developed for tourists, it's pretty clean and maintained. But if you want to go visit the hill please be aware of the caterpillars, there are a lot of them. I visited in November first week. Oh yes there are snakes too according to the locals, so make sure not step into the jungle, keep yourselves limited to the concrete path.
A nice place to spend a few hours.

Situated beside the heritage site of Dubrajpur, the Mama-Bhagne Hill, the gigantic Shiva temple has created a different level of glory and an unmatchable extent of spirituality. The temple has gained an enormous expanse of popularity and admiration in devotees. The totally white painted temple depicts the symbol as if Lord Shiva is always being bathed in pure milk. The designs, architecture and sculpture are fabulous and really appreciable. The temple premesis is a perfect place to gain inner peace and refresh with tranquility for hundreds of devotees and pilgrims daily. During the July-August month( in Bengali calender the Shrabon Month), it is hard to find a space amist all the thousands devotees. Also, during the Maha Shivaratri, the temple records the most thickened crowd ever. The Shiva temple is accompanied by few small temples with the large temple in the centre. Inside the temple, there are two granite rocks, one incredibly enormous both in height and spread and the other one is a small rock. The huge rock, admired by locals and devotees as the Shivalinga, has a metal large pipe held over it which let the mixture of milk and Ganga-Jal flow over the Shivalinga. The high temple is painted white inside too. If one looks above inside the cone shaped temple, it seems like as if he/she is inside a long tunnel which has continuous ring shaped designs inside it. The temple also consists a large bell, as can be expected comparing the size of the temple. Heading towards the east and north side of the temple , it leads to the Mama-Bhagne Hill. Human-animal harmony, a rare thing in anywhere in the town or district, is a very usual and noticeable thing in the premesis. The priests are also friendly and helpful. But cleanliness and tidyness can be an issue here. The temple is just beside the main road, so easily accessible and also tourist friendly. The trees, the park in the south of the temple, the chirpings of birds, cool breeze, the hilly area, harmony in people altogether make this place a brilliant and beautiful place for all kinds of people. The temple is so high that, one can visualize it from any corner of Dubrajpur while sitting at a sufficient high place.
