Madanmohan Temple

Quite a lovely place I have experienced. The place is full of positive energy. You feel connected with the ultimate power. One must visit while they were in Coochbehar.

If the weather is nice you can seat here for a while as there is open space around to spend time. The place is clean and location is 5-7 mins via toto from Coochbehar palace. The market area is walking distance from here.

There is totall 5 stone Sculpture .
1st on is the fully made of gold.but you can't take photo's of this gold sculpture.
2nd and 3rd on they both have golden necklace. Beside that 4th and 5th one was good too..
I recommend to watch this place.

Beautiful 19th century Krishna temple established by the king of coochbehar.

The most important temple of the city, it has four deities - madan Mohan, Kali, Tara and bhairavi.

Such a devotional atmosphere. People can see good paintings there . traffic system maybe effect on tourism

It's a Hindu temple. It's the temple of lord Krishna. Earlier it may have some historical background but now it's purely a religious organization. For camera and phone you have to pay an extra of 50/and 20/- respectively. No entry fee. If you are not interested in visiting a temple nothing much to see. Quite a crowded places.

Historical as well as Religious place. i have rarely seen such a neat and cleaned well maintained temple. no hassles to perform religious activity.The main deity is Lord Krishna flanked by Kali. The temple compound includes a symmetrical garden. opposite the temple is a pond. Best thing is it is a very quite a peaceful place.
