Bogri Krishnanagar Krishnarai Temple

Really it's a very holy temple, every time I visit there I feel something very peaceful to me..The place where it's situated is also very amazing, it's because the presence of the Shilabati River. The whole environment become more attractive in a clear sunny weather, most likely winter time is very charming.
Actually it's a temple of Lord Krishna & Radha, called "KrishnaRaiJiu" by local peoples(& also known to others as this name). Every day when the "puja" ends there is a system of meal also (called "onno_prashad" ) for every pilgrims present there(they also provide coupon for visitors & others who want to take meal). The whole system is fully controlled by the "Roy/Ray" family members with their great effort & contribution. But, I think more improvement needed and some system must be updated and I hope it will happen very soon.

Nice, quite, green atmosphere. A holy place on the bank of Silabati river at Bogri Krishna Rai Nagar. A holy place since 500 years. In Holi festival, this place gone as most attraction of western district of West Bengal like as Paschim Medinipur, Bankura, Hooghly, Burdwan, Purba Medinipur, Purulia.

Very nice ambience. One can go by car from Garbeta. It takes 30 minutes to reach from Garbeta Ramkrishna Mission to this temple by car. Situated on the bank of shilaboti river. Priest of this temple is a very nice man. Can buy coupon for bhog ( lunch) also, in the morning.

Nice quite must visit place on the bank of River Shilabati . You can go here from Garhbeta Station by rented car. The famous Dol Utsab is the main attraction here.
