In this temple the idol of lord shiva. This is an ancient Monument which is maintained by Archaeological Survey of India.

Wonderful discovery of an ancient temple of Bengal. Place is good and well connected, people are nice and cooperative. Must visit place for every Bengali to discover the cultural heritage of Bengal and become proud of our ancestors.

Very peaceful place. I recommend you to visit that place again and again.

Old Shiva Temple under Archeological survey of India. Gajon festival is generally celebrated every year starting 12th of April till 10 days. Huge crowd gathered here at that time for worship. Fair carnival is being put up at that time.

Very old Shiva temple beside a very big pond and at a corner of a great ground of Jagannathpur village near Barjora, Durgapur.
Chaitra Gajon is celebrated as major attraction.
Nice place but the temple is left unattended.
