This is the oldest Hindu temple in Bidhannagar, established in the year 1983 - as the display at the entrance announces. Since then it has grown to a large extent and now houses the idols of Radha- Krishna, Lord Shiva and Graharaj beside the chief deity of Goddess Kali . The temple also enshrines a separate sanctum sanctorum for Ramakrishnadeva, Ma Sarada and Vivekananda. The temple authority also grants permission to the residents of Bidhannagar - against a specified fee - to use its premises for various Hindu rites of passage under the supervision of the official priests of the temple.
