Traditional domestic pujo being celebrated for decades. But this year, found no physical distancing norms maintained throughout. Generally the door always open for all during Durga Pujo, but accepted some restrictions this year.

Dey Bari is one of the oldest Bondi Bari in Shrirampore area.

Durga Puja is held in many bonedi households in Serampore of which Dey Bari in Dey Street is one of the oldest. Durga Puja started way back in 1748 A.D by Ram Chandra Dey.

One of the oldest wealthy families of Serampore. After this family, the adjacent road has been named "Dey Street". The characteristics of their house lies in those age old long round pillars and vast promenade. People usually come to see their century old Durga puja till now. It is one of the very few Durga pujas of Serampore where Jamindari touch can be felt everywhere. And local people like us come to see the heritage of this puja.
