Shree Guru Dronacharya temple

It's a national heritage sight secured and approved my cent. Govt. Of india

Historic, Dronacharya murti made by Eklavya is here, ASI have taken cognizance of this heritage. If one is able to take note, he can find the similarities with the ancient temple- pond structues.
A pond is situated next to the temple, its western side opens into the temple. After that there are small room type structures (mainly in ruins). The plan of pond is rectangular with stairs leading to the pond base.
Temple is constructed in Nagara style, however poor maintenence and subsequent additions of banal features have diluted many characteristic features of this style.
Based on many similarities with the temple towns of ancient India, it can be concluded that this town must be of high importance in its historical setting. Hope oneday, ASI and Ministry of Culture invest some research and bring out the more information and construct the history of this temple and vis a vis of the town.

Very beautiful and peaceful place, it is also a historical place, according to hindu sacred....... This tample is devoted to Guru Drona Charya and Pandaves (Arjun) got 🎯 archery at the same place....... This tample is also famous for a big fair on Hindu's Janmastni................

The only temple of Guru Shree Dronacharya, Guru of kauravas and Pandawas.
The ancient temple is said to be built at the actual site where the Eklavya get trained in archery.
Eklavya made an Idol of Dronacharya and started training .
The temple is well maintained and is must see place while visiting Dankaur distt.(now Gautam Buddha Nagar).
