The place is situated at the bank of River Ganga. This is historical and ethical places. The place is known for Mata Sheetla devi temple. People's from many districts including Allahabad, Kaushambi, Mirjapur, Pratapgadh are come here for warships of devi Sheetla. The place has a old fort made by Lodhi dynasty. The fort is situated at the front of river Ganga. The temple and area near Ganga needs a good development and cleaning plan so that is can be more attractive. The UP depty Chief Minister Kesav Prasad maurya comes from this area only.

No proper roads. Please do not visit in monsoons, their was dirty water of sewage all over roads and you have to walk through it.No management,no cleanliness
