Karuvurar is a saint or Siddhar in Tamil Nadu, India. There are 18 Siddhars popularly known in Tamil literature. He is the one among the 18 Siddhars. The word Siddhar is derived from the Tamil word Siddh, meaning wise. Siddhars can perceive the higher cosmic movements in-universe. They are experts in all aspects including Yoga, Alchemy, Literatures, Philosophy, etc. They can liberate their soul as well as the power to enter their soul in another body for particular karma (or) act and then come back to their original body.
