Raghunath Temple Odgaon

A must have visit place. Really amazing. Very beautiful and peaceful area. Priests are well behaved

Lord Raghunath jew temple is located in odogaon, Nayagarh district. Near about 100km from bbsr and 30 km from Nayagarh.
It is one of the famous iconic temples in Odisha dedicated to Lord Ram.
This temple has beautiful idols of Sri Ram, maa Sita and laxman enshrined in it.
One of the rarest idol of Shree Ram with moustache. ରାଜା ବେଶରେ ପୂଜା ପାଉଛନ୍ତି ଶ୍ରୀ ରାମ, ମା ସୀତା ଓ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମଣ। The Kalash of the temple is made of pure gold. Main temple is surrounded by Small beautiful temples.
Parking place is available (rs.20/-) with a minimal charge. Priests are well behaved sometimes they ask you for money but you can ignore them. Best time to visit is evening Puja (ସଂଧ୍ୟା ଆଳତି). Must visit this place. When you visit enjoy famous chat.😋

One of the best place in Nayagarh.Such a calm and composed surrounding (inside the temple) , You would probably lost in its mesmerizing arts and crafts .In this time Lord Ram Considered to be the mariyada Purusa and to get the blessings of Lord Ram you probably have such devotion.

How to reach:
It's just 15km (approx )from ladukeswar temple and just 500m from the odogaon square

Parking 🅿️:
It's a fine place and we don't face any parking issues bear it probably every temple in Nayagarh doesn't face any such incidents, Yes it's my personal opinion and may vary from person to person

Temple Surrounding:

Calm and a positive Aura around the temple , The entire Ramayan crafted and stored in a safe manner and have a glass protection and details within it.
You have to take a 5rs ticket 🎟️ to visit the museum where these beautiful things are kept with good care .
In the middle of the museum you have a Hanuman statue and Lord Ram Maa Sita and brother Laxman statues present with best condition.

Maintance is the issue. You may find sometimes that the colouring work was not taken care of . The Temple Authority should gave special attention towards it.

Verdict:
Over all experience is good 😊
---> The nature of the temple daita Patis is too Rude they are very demanding towards money 😇
They are not Like the pujaris of west odisha
The laters are so so kind hearted and they would don't mind to explain their beautiful heritage which lacks here.

Odagaon is 26 kms away from Nayagarh (town). It is said that the renowned poet of Odisha, Kabi Samrat Upendra Bhanja mediated here and attained perfection in the Rama Taraka Mantra. This temple was built around 1903.

Old and famous temple of that area. Environment peaceful, neat and clean.
