Awesome hike of 750 steps. Very peaceful place. Best time to start is morning by 9. Couple of vendors enroute selling lemonade and water. Best carry a cap and water. Snacks available within the temple premises

You climb almost 650 steps (5000 ft) to reach this beautiful place. Once you reached, you will feel unbelievable calm inside you. It is the combination of surprise and blessfulness as it is hindu temple built on hill with so much carving on it.Must visit temple.

We had started our journey around 5pm in the evening. The atmosphere was pleasent as the sun was setting down. The view around the whole trip was just mesmerizing. Visiting to lords temple has never been so divine. I believe the aura around the place is so strongly postive and clean. The climb was tiring as we are not so used to mountains trekking. Without shoes the trip felt even great. It took time but the end result was pure satisfaction and worthwhile.

Must visit place in monsoon.. 40 Minutes easy climbing for average people (Approx 725 steps).
First 300 steps may feel exhausting but later it's more of walking than climbing..

Good to start early morning (before 7:30)..

The road to the temple might be a bit tiring but it's worth. There are around 650-700 steps to reach the temple . The view gets better as you reach the top . There are no stalls or shops on your way as you begin until you reach the top . Hence carrying/ buying water bottles before you start will help you .

Situated at a hilltop. Need to climb 750 steps, beautiful trek amidst thick forest. At the top is kankeshwar shiv temple with bramhkund. Constructed in 1756. Very refreshing

It is proper trek 😥 one side 750 steps.
Steps are incline difficult to walk. Majority steps and after 350 steps you can walk for a while but again there are steps to climb. There is Mahadev temple upside and big temple premises. We started by 10am to reached at temple by 11.30. and came down in half hour. It is recommended to start early in the morning.

Beautiful temple of Lord Shiva which is situated atop mountain. It takes around an hour to reach at the top if you take steps which are well laid out from parking itself. Its not exactly an easy trek kind of thing as there are 650 steps and can be tiring and exhaustive specially for senior citizens but can be completed if you have ample time available and take break inbetween. Few shops are available near the temple serving soft drinks and snacks, also saw 2-3 small shops along the route. Best time to visit is early morning or during monsoon as the route passes through mountains and becomes quite picturesque. Easiest way to reach base parking area is to take right at Karlekhind and stay on Thal road and then take right again at Mapgaon road if coming from poynad, road condition is better on this route, another route is from Chondi naka which passes through Tropicana resort but road condition is worst on this stretch. Overall a must visit place when in alibaug especially during monsoon👍
