Very nice hiking around 650 steps, initial steps are little steep but very easily walkable, typically anyone can climb up in approximately 90 minutes or so. My lil 3.5 years girl climbed on her own with little encouragement. Open Parking until the start of hike. There is beautiful Lord Shiva Mandir at top. Worth visit. Few shops at top that sells snacks and tea.

Few imp points : For old age having walking difficulty this is definitely tough.

We encountered Monkeys that were really dangerous and charged on us on our way back, hence advisable to remain with larger groups.

Best place to visit if you want to see Beautiful nature. It consist total 750 stair case which leads you the Mandir (temple). Once you reached on the top u will be able to look the Beautiful view and tiny vehicals moving on the road.. You must visit this place mostly in monsoon season and if possible then on a rainy day coz it will make your journey more happy and asthetic..... If you feel tired while climbing dont give off take a rest and then continue coz if u return u will miss the best view. More u climb, the more Beautiful view u will see. So keep going...

Good environment, Lush green forest area, ,around 650 big steps and around 3000 feet above the base land the journey to the temple very exiting. We got the cool breeze while going up and coming down. However the descent was slippery as there was moss and algi on the stones.

A small routine break hiking location.
A Mandir of Lord Kanakeshwar is situated at a top 5000 ft altitude.
It takes around 1 hr to climb 400 steps.
And rest of the 250 steps are just like pedestrian with boulevard of Lush green trees.
Collectively it takes 1.5 hrs approx to reach to the mandir.
The steps has sitting provisions at certain distances so anyone can relax and take a breathe to continue the journey.

It takes a long while to climb, wile descending is more painful too. At the end of the journey there is a temple, but sadly there is no mountain view kind of thing. You can enjoy the nature and fresh air while spending time here. Good exercise...
