Visited Jun 2022.
Was here on a weekday morning, had the place to myself. Nice mandir, circa 1754 it seems. Totally hemmed in by neighbouring buildings. For photography morning might be best since it is east-facing. Go around the back to see a unique Lingodbhava (thanks KS for the tip).
Pics attached.

A beautiful architecture of a temple. The Ganesh idol here is unique because of the presence of three truncks instead of usual one. The idol is beautifully carved. There are many Deitys and Animals with legendary references carved into the outside and inside walls of the temple
A must visit for those who love stone architecture.

This temple in Somar Peth has incredibly beautiful stone carvings. Situated right in the heart of pune city.
It's dedicated to lord Ganesh having 3 trunks, hence the name Trishundha.
Parking here is a problem.

Beautiful temple of Shri Ganesh.
300 yrs old temple, you will be surprised to see such architectural work in heart of the crowded town.
Please read the history which I have attached herewith in pictorial format. This will help you to understand more about the temple and the carvings which are available on walls.
Interesting place for sure, must visit place.
Not sure about morning timings but it is closed during afternoon and opens up at 5 pm.
For parking, there is no dedicated parking available, 2 wheeler can be managed easily, for 4 wheeler you have to find nearby place.

I just loved this temple. Almost hidden temple in Pune. The entrance to the temple is flanked by sculptured dwarpalakas (doorkeepers), with a carving of Goddess Lakshmi with two elephants above.
The temple is constructed from Deccan stone basalt, on a high platform with a small courtyard in front. It is highly decorated with figures, animals, and mythological creatures, many of which appear to be somewhat unusual.
The architecture of the temple is a blend of Rajasthani, Malwa and South Indian styles.
Must visit 😊

It felt quite strange that such a beautiful temple is not having enough eyeballs . When I went there few women were sitting there casually and no visitors were there. I reached there from auto and even the local autowaala was not aware of this 300 hundred year old marvel of a temple. This is a really beautiful temple with a rare trishund Ganapati. If you are in pune this should he definitely in your itinerary.
