This is one of the Jyotirlings located on the banks of Sangam of Narmada and Kaveri rivers its a very unique experience to visit this Joytirling!, Avoid visit on weekends or holiday
as it might take 3-4 hours in que for Darsan. There is VIP que cost approximately 300/person. The best time to visit is weekdays, early morning on weekends.
We visited during Sharawan hence the it was very very crowded need to wait 3-4 hours in queue.
Narmada dam is very near too teample some time dam comes overflow and authorities open the doors of dam that view is awesome, wated comes out of doors with full force.
Best place to visit and if you want to visit this place then choose day wisely.

Omkareshwar is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, located in Mandhata, nearby Khandwa city in Khandwa district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva.

I visited Om Kareswar, and I enjoyed and felt blessed for Baba mahakal darshan 🙌 the only thing I want to tell you is that please avoid visiting on Sundays because I did & I got stuck in a queue. It was difficult for me to come out of it.

Apart from that, you will have a beautiful view there from Narmada Nadi and boats. Overall it was a good trip of mine.

It us situated in the hill near a bank of river Narmada. Its looks awesome during sunshine

Omkareshwar Jyotirling - Mahadev Mandir 58km away from Mahakaleshwar, Ujjain. The temple is situated on Mandhata or Shivpuri island on the banks of Narmada and Kaveri river..this is a very Beautiful location. The island is 4 KM long and can be approached by boats and bridge. Also, Mumleshwar mahdev temple is situated there.

Very good temple located around 70kmfrom indore. Road conditions are pathetic and heavy traffic is flowing to cover around 3hours aprx. to cover 70km.
Two way to go mandir via foot bridge or boat. Jai bholenath.....

There is something special in this jyothirling apart from others....it is situated on the banks of narmada...
It is present on the island on narmada river...which is of Om shaped Island..so its got name from it...
Everyone tries to cheat for pooja....no be chated...
Abhishek is not done on the main lingam...its done downstairs with small lingam...

It is located in perfect location the beautiful scenery and the holy Omkareshwar...
