Amazingly beautiful Shiva temple....... was probably built by some Chanderi Raja.
Almost 1200 years old but still standing in full glory. Should go there to witness the majestic architecture..... really mesmerizing....

Nohleshwar shive mandir is a very old temple in nohta town.it is maintained and managed by archeological survey of India.it is heritage site and protected by asi india.although temple is open for worship.bhagwan shive worshipped here.it is constructed in pattern of Khajuraho temple. Temple constructed by kulchury naresh yuvraj sing around 10th century. there is no entry fee.temple is fully protected by fencing.a beautiful garden developed by asi india here.

What a carving all over the temple. These are the place give you moments of proud how rich ancient Indian hindu culture was. Natraj, dakshinamurti, gauri pati, ling shiva resides in lots of form on wall carvings. Photogenic, clean and spiritually beautiful

This Shiv temple is about 1 km away from Nohta village. Shiv is also known as 'Mahadev' and 'Noheleshwar' . It was built around 950-1000 AD according to some people the credit of building this temple gose to the queen of kalchury king Avni Varma of Chlukya Vansh. The Shiv temple of Nohta is the most important representation or the design of the architecture of kalchury style of temple building of the 10th century. It is built on a high platform. It's part are- 'Panch rath', 'Garhgrah', 'Amtral', 'Mandap' and' Mukh Mandap'.
