Sree Dharmasastha Temple

I happened to see this ancient looking temple while we were passing by the highway (NH-47) crossing Kayamkulam. When we pulled over, they told us that this temple will be soon demolished to make way for wider roads, and build again on the adjacent land behind it.

I took a picture of this centuries old temple, build during the reign of Kayamkulam kings which is now centuries old. But unfortunately, this beautiful temple remains unmarked from the eyes of many. Just thought to share it here, perhaps I might help another traveler to see a glimpse of it before they demolish it.

Religious place at chuttipara. From here one can a great view of pathanamthitta town and also enjoy a glimpse of nature.

old temple , now completely tiled and traditional looks gone .. all are requested to walk to river from the temple to get more energy than the temple ...

Obviously the ayyapa temple is so peaceful and since it's in the middle of town the area is less and parking area is less it's under travancore devasom
