The calm and serene place, can be the description as a one-liner. Beyond that the place has quite a vibe. The positiveness and the sense of peaceful embracing the heart even if one isn't a devotee & not limited to the 1 or 2 senses, but awaking all the senses and helping to find inner peace.

The place isn't very hard to reach, easy access from vytilla, Eroor, Thrippunithara. An auto-stand is nearby to reach places prior to the visit. Cannot reach via bus and no parking space available, hace to leave them by road side(no worries the road's aren't packed )

Very nice Devi temple, let me share some information about it.
It is believed to be one among the 108 durgalayas.Legend has it that there was one Pishara (means a yogi )who was an ardent devotee of devi Mookambika.
He came back from kollur to his native place.Devi mookambika appeared before him in the form of Balambika. The place where he had Mookambika darshan became the sanctum sanctorum.
The temple festival is held every year in this temple in the month of Kumbham, which lasts for 10 days.
The famous 'Makam thozhal' festival where devi Mookambika gave darshan to the legendary yogi vilwamangalam is also celebrated during the festival. On this day the deity is adorned with gold jewellery and clad in beautiful silk saree all over. It is considered a boon to have this darshan on this auspicious occasion.
The last day which celebrates the arattu festival culminates with the thirunal of Lord Poornathrayeesha, where pishari kovil bhagavathy and poornathrayeesha will have 'kootti ezhunnellippu'.
Om Sarva Mangala mangalye,

Goddess looks like she came there just to bless us.

A temple with a legend

Since I am an outsider I did the some browsing to know about Amma more.

She is the swarupa of Goddess Lakshmi

Seems, A Malayali Brahmin ("Pishara") had brought the divine spark of Kollur Mookambika to this holy place.
Yogis, monks, sanyasis etc seems to be called "Pisharas" and hence this temple is called as "Pishari Kovil"

Very divine Goddess. We visited the temple on the occasion of thirukarthigai deepam, the complete temple was lighted with kuthu vilaku. The temple has a big pond and very spacious too. Lovely place of worship and good time to spend the evening.
