This little known Durga or Bhagavathi temple was the temple of the king of erstwhile thiruvithankur kingdom. My visit to this temple was after around 50 years. Today the old temple has been completely renovated and have dedicated priests for the Pooja. The atmosphere inside the temple was highly energising. I am fortunate to be in the temple during the prasada Pooja or during lunch of the diety. The black sweet rice prasadam really superb.
