Chandi Mata Temple GSP, Bagbahara

Amazing place with Very Spiritual Vibe. The Temple is situated over a small mountain which you can reach directly via road or From the Backside of the temple. While going from the backside there is a little struggle in walking uphill and steep slope. We went from the backside and it was quite adventurous for us. Once you get to a little height you see a beautiful panoramic view of the Mountains around you. We missed the main attraction of this place which is "Bears" Yes this is the place where bears come to the temple Every evening for little snacks. Thrilling yeah!
The best advice is to come here at Sunset Timing where you can enjoy both sunset and Bear Feeding activity.

Chandi Mata Mandir is located in Bagbahara and the Distance from District mahasamund is around 40 KMs.

The temple is in hilly region which causes the great ambiance and eye soothing view for Visitors.

Also apart from the chandi mata temple, the main attraction of the place are two Bears🐻, They are vegitarians and every evening they came here for some snacks and also enjoys Mazaa,frooti too.

Most Suggested timing to visit here is evening cause you can Enjoy the Ambiance, View and also Bears🐻 Existance.

It’s a good devotional place but most of the people come here to see Beers as at the evening beers come here. We were not that much fortunate to see them.

Pious place.
Pratakshya devi reside here.
You can see bears roaming near.
Very well behaved local market on the way to temple.
Very hold and mythological temple.
It is believed that the devi statue is rotating anticlock wise gradually.

Place is fantastic but the road for temple is not that good no signboard for temple n that railway crossing is mess

Nice place to visit. A temple of Maa Chandi goddess Kali is there people with religious belief & spiritual feeling must visit there & there is bear wandering in the temple premises & but unfortunately he comes in his own time if you see the bear you are very lucky.
