The Grand Thakar

It's just name of this place, nothing special about it!! Taste of each vegetables was the same and the texture too. Staff were throwing food in the plate and for each time we have to ask them multiple times to refill our plat, even small restaurant service staff are more professional then. Only one thing was good it that quantity of food, not the quality of food.
Not recommend, hope may they will improve there quality as well as service too.

Very crowded and noisy resturant. Typical Gujarati thali experience. But taste was not that great, also felt unhygienic. People who were serving their uniform were not that clean and hygiene. Bcos after having food many of my friends to fell ill stomach upset

Good food. Welcoming staff and good ambience… must try for unlimited Gujarati thali lovers.

Average food taste. You can’t differentiate between different items. All taste same.
Staff was throwing food in your plate. Least hygiene maintenance. The smell outside of waiting area was pathetic. Nothing will give you a feeling like a “grand” restaurant. They should remove that word.

Awesome Experience. Heard so much about The Grand Thakar manytimes, so decided to visit and I must say the service and the Food quality is A1. Best Place I've ever visited in my life till now with Awesome Quality Food and great service. Last but not the least, the price = It was 1320/-😍 (Including Taxes) for 4 people and Unlimited.

If you’re planning to come here then be prepare to wait in waiting area.
Waiting area dirty Bcuz of washroom and bad smell come from the washroom.
Dining area too much conjugated.
Lots of noise so that you can’t eat properly.
Gujarati dish famous for it’s puran podi with lots of Ghee.

Firstly I eat this TGT gujarati dish at Rajkot branch then after here at Ahmedabad, honestly Rajkot branch customer service,food and atmosphere is good compared to Ahmedabad.

One of the best Gujarati thali in Ahmedabad.
I like their star sweet dish named Puran Puri. Ther are giving Best quality Farsans, Sweets, Basundi and main course, everything unlimited.
