We had Sunday lunch here.
It is well maintained clean ambience.
Thali price at one six zero is value for money in this air-conditioned seating and service restaurant.
Food quality is average in terms of Authentic Gujarati taste, it is a thali for Guj City residents.
Thali has a standard tava roti / chapati , puri, potatoe sabji, chole etc. Guj Dal is not tasty, ma7 be they are mixing some other stuff in tuver / arhar dal.
Authentic taste and rustic village dishes are not served, which need original ingredients.
We don't find, Bhaakhri, Bajri Rotla, Khaman, Patra, Green Vegetable, Vegetable curry made of Besan sev / ganthiya etc.
It is recommended for a low budget Thali experience.
To try authentic real Guj traditional thali, you need try other place, this is not for that.

This is one of the best restaurant in Gandhinagar for Gujarati Thali Lovers.. It has fix rate thali for around 180rs/pp. It includes 3 Subji, papad, Roti, Puri and Bhakhari, one farsan, buttermilk and sweet with extra fee.
Bhakhari is best product with little sweetness and small size.. Best things of restaurant is Service. Very Fast Service... Good to try for food lovers...................

I had Gujarati thali. That costs 160 approx.

Taste: Typical Gujarati thali sweetish menu , you may not like it at all if you(non gujju) don't it thalis often.

Connectivity - It is situated exactly between GH-4 and GH-5 circle on road no. 6. You will get auto from any bus stand (it is hardly 500m far from both bus stands).

Parking - Parking facility is there but in the vicinity there are other restaurants so you can face some parking related troubles especially on weekends.

Ambience - It is typical Gujarati dining hall with basic interiors, cushiony sofas and instrumental songs playing. Nothing fancy. Bathroom was also very neat and clean.

Food - Average is the one word for it. Thali includes - 3 sabzi (1 green vegetable, 1 pulse and 1 fixed sabzi of potato tomato), roti puri,
1 farsan, Dal rice (sweet gujarati dal), chhash and papad. All of them are unlimited. You can also opt for sweet (gulab jamun, shreekhand or aamras which is seasonal) for 30rs extra. Taste is average with adequate spices added. It would be much suited to kids and elders. Thali costs 170 per person which is I think slightly on a higher side according to thali offered.

Service - It was very promopt. No issues regarding that.

If you are a Gujarati food lover then you will just enjoy the food and it's quality here. It's difficult to get a seat during peak hours but the wait is worth it . Absolutely loved this place. There kadhi and dal is absolutely amazing

One of the top class authentic gujarati taste served in gandhinagar from long years. Very good staff and service with tremendous tasty food with good seating arrangement. They are one of the top 5 Gujarati Dining hall of the city...
