Food was plain and simple which we can get in any gujrati/kathiywadi family, nothing special
This place is perfect for non-gujaratis. For Gujaratis this will be as good as home made food

The best place in Ahmedabad to have thali. I had a thali 6 years back and it's the same now. The thali had perfect Gujarati flavours. Highly recommend this place.

This dinning hall is quite famous for it's gujarati thali. Delicious food. Service is very good. Polite staff...Hygienic. atleast visit once to enjoy pure gujarati thali.

Food is good but for once or twice. Only thali is served and no other option. As it is Gujarati thali so most of the items are on a sweet side.

Best place to have authentic and yummy Gujarati food in Ahmedabad. The restaurant staffs are polite and good part is they serve your food with smile and content in face.

Me and my wife visited this place for lunch. Though we are South Indian, we liked the food. Service is excellent, the owner/Managers are very customer friendly.
The taste and service were on par with the Best in the industry. We would recommend this restaurant for a lunch

Horrible quantity.
Don't ever order online from these cheats. One kg of kadi and less than 200 gm of sabji for a full tiffin which is supposed to feed four. When we called the restaurant they tried to lie saying that a full tiffin is for three.
Now logically the half tiffin should be for 1.5 person and 1 packed thali should serve 0.75 person. Anyway the restaurant accepts that they serve below standard quantity and are not interested in happy customers.
They've priced a meal at 300 for one person for dinein and if your order online 1000 will barely feed two so please do not order from here.

We ordered a full tiffin online from Toran (see small boxes in picture) which is supposed to feed four. We were so utterly disappointed that we ordered a full tiffin additionally from Gwabhog (see the big boxes). Please note that the order is for the same menu item but how the packaging drastically differs.

I have ordered "Gujarati Thali", which was average in taste.
Price is reasonable not much costly.
It is at the walking distance from the @Gandhi Ashram@.
