I visited this place recently with my wife. Their ambience was super amazing. They had a pottery making area, traditional dance, puppet show, and much more. The staff was very good. They serve traditional Gujarati food, and it tasted good. Overall, I feel it is an excellent place for someone who wishes to have a traditional Gujarati meal.

Best part is the ambience, although in the midst of crowded city like Ahmedabad Rajwadu gives you the vibe of secluded forest restaurant.
Sittings are quiet apart giving you privacy and a fine dine experience with your loved ones.
Food is cherry on the cake, amazingly prepared Gujarati dishes which are mild in taste. I loved the way they serve makkhan in a small earthenware.
The hospitality is worth mentioning.

Ambience is good, ethinic like puppet shows and Folk Dance presented in breathtaking. However they need to work on food taste (less oily) and more varieties. Ice cream served in the end was more icy and tastes also average. But Overall a must visit in Ahmedabad.

It was mix purely traditional place with deshi/authentic Guajarati and Rajasthani food.
Excellent service, best in hospitality and not much tasty food.
Rajeshthani folk dance and puppet show are also interesting.

If u wanna go then go in winter.

Need to upgrade or brighten lights on dinning.

Good place to go for the Rajwadi Country side and village feel! Food is okay and only for the ones who like food that is Gujarati and a bit of Rajasthani accent! Ambience can be a little bright! Service and feel vibes is very good! Also prices are high for the ambience and not food!

Excellent food and everlasting experience.
Visited the restaurant with family during Navaratri and it was quite an experience .
Considering the amount per head the experience is worth it. Only negative is that we had to wait for quite some time and kids got impatient. Probably they have large crowd during Navaratri hence the wait .
We were greeted with some cool drinks , saw a traditional folk dance, participated in an aarti and then proceeded to dining area.
Food was vegetarian and really tasty although loaded with ghee. Servers would come to refill even before you finish so no wait once you sit down to dine.

Recommended if you are visiting Ahmedabad.

One of the best experience I have had in longest time. It's kind of adventure from the first foot in the restaurant. It's ambience and service is top notch. And the dishes served does spice up your flavour buds. I felt personally, the dishes were over priced considering the taste it served.

We ordered:
baingan bharta
sev tameta (won't recommend)
Jabeli (must try); they were crispy and crunchy
Dahi Puri (nice touch to the way they served)
Gujarati Dal and Chawal (not good not bad)

Taste: 3.5/5
Ambience: 5/5
Price: 3/5
Quantity: 3.5/5
Service: 5/5

Overall: 3.5/5
