Shiv Shakti Hostel

The room was dirty, we found more than three cockroachs in our room. The trash bin were not clean and full of cockroachs also. The receptionist was asking too much from us and we felt opressed. Morover asking for a selfie at the end is really not appropriate. The room were so humid that all our luggages and clothes became wet. The pictures are really different from the reality. The receptionist wouldnt help us to find an ATM.
I wouldnt recomand.

Poor hostel currently

Stayed in non AC room. No windows in the room & cleaned on high level but deep within stinks. No common area. Construction work is in progress. So only place to sit is small reception area. Probably not a good time to visit untill place is renovated. Feels like chawl
inside.

Very much good experience with SHIV SHAKTI HOSTEL. It is situated near to laxman jhula and 15 minutes walking distance from Ram jhula. Stayed there for 2 nights in dormitory with attached common bathroom. The staffs there were very friendly and helpful, they also have scooty rental services.

It was a pathetic experience. The room was not clean at all. The smell of damp was coming in the whole room. And the linens also smelling badly. There was water bottle no room service. The building was under renovation. Don't go for it. It is located in a very thin street.

We booked two deluxe rooms for our stay. The rooms only matched the pictures and the corridors and reception were not clean.
The hotel owner was kind enough to upgrade one of our rooms but still the geyser was not working in that room. The other was not well maintained and the ac had broken vents. It had only one light for the room.

Since the place was affordable and we only had to stay in the rooms at night so we were able to manage.
The receptionist gave us an early checkin too

The hostel is located in the market area, the property is under construction but still clean and cozy. The amenities are well provided and the staff is friendly too. Loved my stay.

Good and very polite staff. It took some time to figure out the hostel location as there were no label or markers about the place on its outside. If it works in your budget, then go for the deluxe rooms available on top floors.
