Amuthu Residency

I have booked single room in this hotel. I have paid it through online and even got the voucher. During my visit I have been told that the room is alloted to someone else. I tried to reach the host in charge but he blocked my number. Its not just me he did the same for few others. I have struggled a lot to find room in another place! pathetic service. At least they should have informed in prior about this. unethical people.

It's little far from main road. To get bus or auto we have to walk 500 to 750m . No car parking facility. Room is decent . No TV facility. Heater, hot water facility is available. Per day Rs1000 for non AC room. Any time check in and check out available.

Rooms are good but location of the residency is not in main place of the city , it was located in a small street

The location is near the highway with good amenities and service. The rooms are neat and clean. Hot water is available for bath as well as to drink. Manager is so good and polite to speak. Felt like home is different state for first time♥️😍

Surprised to see how nice & clean the rooms are. Absolutely well maintained. 5 star level hospitality.
Pros: Big shower head, heater, AC, wifi, very comfy beds, clean bedsheets, clean floor, clean bathroom, provision shop opposite.
Humble staff & eager to help you. 24hrs check-out from the time you check-in. You can get everything in the vicinity. Ideal for family and children. Safe environment.
Cons: Car parking is limited but you can park more cars a little away (100m distance).
Verdict: I would definitely recommend this place. And I'd love to visit again ❤

Had opted for one night stay, due to my car technical issue. Though the place is decent and very much accessible from the NH. it's highly priced for the offering. Still appreciate for accommodating very last minute request. It's in the couple of KMs range from SALEM City NH

Turned out to be a poor experience for me.

1. At check-in, the caretaker kept me waiting without bothering to explain why, and then tried to charge above the booking price.

2. The room had soiled sheets and pillow covers. Only some of the switches were working. (Mentioning only the major issues with the room)

3. The caretaker didn't give me a soap or a towel. Kept asking him and finally got soap a little later. But I got the towel only late night, at 10.10 pm, after I kept calling the caretaker and finally phoned the owner as well.

4. There is no hotel or tea stall nearby. The caretaker said he would always be available to fetch food or provide tea/coffee but he wasn't there all evening. I had to go about 1.5 km to get dinner.

5. This is more of a lodge or a one-storey house with multiple rooms in a narrow lane on the city's outskirts, and not a hotel.

The owner apologized via WhatsApp, but it was just overall bad experience and I decided to stay elsewhere for my return journey.

Very nice & peaceful place, staff is also very helpful.
