Can get share taxi or rikshaw from palghar railway station. Can complete the trek in 2 hrs.
Do visit in mid rainy season...nice weather to enjoy nature.
Nice place for one day trek, u can go alone as well or with grp, I got the train from borivali at around 6am and reached palghar around 7.15am after that got the state transport bus n reached wagoba temple in 15min. Wagoba is the base point u can start your trek from there. I took 1 hour 15min to reach on top. Beautiful scenic view with dense forest. Carry water bottle n lite sancks and dnt carry heavy weight. There is one shop on base point were u will get snacks like misal, vada pav, poha etc....there is n parking place so no need to worry but if u want pocket friendly than use state transport. My overall cost of trekk was 110rs only...
40rs return train tickets bvi to bvi
30rs bus tickets
40rs for snacks
Best time to visit- Monsoon season.
Kaldurga fort is hill type fort and is located in Palghar taluka, of Palghar District. The height of this fort is about 1550 feet. The fort range is Palghar range contains many hill forts and Kaldurg is one of them.
The top of the fort is rectangular. Due to this rectangular shape of fort one can easily locate it from a distance. There is no sign which states that this is a fort. There are large numbers of forest trees on thefort so healthy population of tribes is on the fort. But standard of living is poor. The fort is divided due to this rectangular rock as fort above the rock and fort below the rock. There are two to three steps which separate these two parts.
How to Reach:
✔ By Air
The nearest International Airport is Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai, roughly two hour drive from Palghar.

Palghar has its own Railway Station named as Palghar Railway Station which is connected to the major cities of Maharashtra.
✔ By Road
Reach Palghar station by Local train in Mumbai, walk to the bus stand for 15 min and hop into any bus going towards Manor or Wada and get down at Waghobaa Khind
If u planning to visit that place please follow some necessary instructions like carrying sufficient water.extra food and extra cloth.
For my point of view this is not for visiting place...
Last stretch is again steep but overall iis an easy trek and should take around 3 to 4hr to complete.
It is generally crowded on weekends hence one may explore during weekdays or to start as early as 5-6am on weekend. Also, parking is present but do take care since people don't follow the parking guidelines and taking out vehicle might be a challenge.
Recommended to visit during monsoon with friends and family.
