The fort is quite big. Currently, it is in ruins but it looks very strong & attractive. The fort was mostly dominated by the Portuguese hence you can see the Portuguese influence everywhere in the fort. Also, there is a statue of Great Maratha warrior Chimaji Appa to commemorate the victory over Vasai fort.

One less star because there's no information board useful for new tourist other wise it's a very beautiful fort. It's reachable by public transport (Killa stop Bus No 112) from Vasai Road Railway Station. It's very less crowded place which is actually another perk to add for the place. One would fine date plantation and lush greenery nearby

An amazing place near Vasai City and so ancient.
The ruins of the forts are lovely. I think they are around 500 years old.
You should start with a boat ride from the end of the road. It's about 20 mins and they charge 100 Rs per person. Reminds you of Gateway of India boat rides.
Then trek through the Citadel and Fort. Lots to walk and lots to see.
Memorable experience and lots to looks at.
Don't forget to wear your walking shoes.

It's a huge campus full of greenery and butterflies. The place is really beautiful and romantic. I loved the way the fort was built even though most of it's parts are ruins now. It's around 108 acres of land. You can explore a lot here.

One of the most beautiful forts in Mumbai that I have visited.
One has to visit this fort at least once.
In the monsoons, there's a lot of greenery but in other seasons one can see the walls of the fort as the greenery dies.

Good place to visit once. It was full of greenery recently due to rainy days. From One point on the fort you can view the city. Also, vasai beach is a secluded beach to hangout till evening.

We have visited Vasai Fort in January23.
Prietty good place to explore near mumbai. Best time to visit is after monsoon. Govt should take a proper care of such heritage. There was no washrooms outside the fort.
You can reach there easily by taking auto or cab from Vasai Station.
