Kesari Restaurant

We had lemon soda, momos and amritsari kulcha. The food was okish in taste and quantity was good. You can find better options ahead on the same highway in a shorter distance.

While going to Ramgarh & coming back we stopped here for tea. The way the place is done up we thought it would be good. Unfortunately the way the place has been done up equally bad are their women toilets. While going and coming back there was poop in one of the washrooms. The floor and the wash area was v wet n dirty.
I feel sad & appalled by the owners who train their staff to keep the restaurant near & clean but not the women washrooms. It a matter of hygiene & these guys can spend so money on decor but not on hygiene.
Wake up guys, women hygiene & general hygiene should be the first priority! I don’t wish to add the open dustbin pics here!

We stopped at Kesari on our way to Nainital as it looked like a fresh clean place . And we were right. It was a wonderful break in our journey . The place has a decent size parking and the washrooms were clean. We just had a Papdi Chaat and ordered Shahi Paneer, Tandoori roti and butter naan. The papdi chaat was brought from the counter outside which is cash only and was for 90₹ and it was very good. The Shahi paneer was fantastic. A pretty big portion for the price with good quality paneer and quite a bit of the rich and flavourful gravy. It was rich and the flavour of the cashew of the gravy was very apparent. The rotis were fresh and overall a delicious wholesome meal. The lunch costed us 341₹ with taxes for the rotis and paneer. This is a great place to stop as the AC is powerful , washrooms are clean , restaurant is also very clean , good quality and tasty food for travellers and their drivers aswell.

Good food with great taste and service. Food is value for money. This restaurant is situated on rudrapur to rampur road hence attracts travelers to kill their hunger.

Had aloo pyaz parantha along with tea which is really amazing. Also had a kiwi pastry for sweet tooth which is really amazing. I loved visiting here.

If you are coming from Nainital to Delhi then it should be a rest point for amazing snacks.

Really nice place. Good food, pleasant ambiance and great service. Apart from food, their bakery section deserves to be mentioned, simply amazing!
