We went into the family section, and the moment we entered, a manager asked us to wait and in a few moments, a table was given to us. That guy looks really hardworking.
As for the food, we ordered one meal, chicken biriyani, koonthal thenga koth, lime juice, brownie-icecream.
The meals was super tasty, all the items tasted very good. But chicken biriyani was just alright, there isn't anything much to say about it.
Koonthal thengakoth was good, but my mom makes it better and I felt it wasn't worth 200₹.
Brownie-icecream outdid everything, that icecream was the best flavour I've ever tasted. Chocolate Brownies were hard but tasty.
Overall we spent 800₹ for 2 people, and for that money it was worth it.
Ghee rice and curry was good but the spaghetti. We didn't like the taste tbh, maybe it's because we don't like that kinda taste. But the pineapple pudding was finger licking good. One of the must visit and best place for food in Calicut.
All the Dishes we ordered had great taste and courteous employees.Nice place to dine with your family and friends. Their Fish dishes are special. I recommend all review readers to try their fish mango curry ,which is remarkable😋😋.
We always use to have that wonderful feeling whenever we visited M Grill. May be their special onion soup or any other items from the menu.
Excellent service, helpful staff and well maintained cleanliness takes us to this place whenever we are around this part of the town.
1. ‘Chutulli Meen’ - Prices as per size
2. ‘Beef Thenga Kothu’ - SR. 250
3. Wheat Porotta
Not many enjoy wheat Porotta and it tends to be a bit drier than the normal porotta that we are all familiar with but I quite enjoy it. Pair this with their ‘Beef Thenga Kothu’ and you are in for a treat.
The ‘Beef’ is prepared like the usual Beef Fry and then rendered down with lots of coconut that enhances the meat and thickens the already delicious gravy into a thick mouthwatering paste. You’ll end up licking your fingers clean just like I did.
The ‘Chutulli Meen’ is from another planet and I have not had anything this appetising in recent memory. The King Fish slice is cooked along with ‘Cheriya Ulli’ (pearl onions) and a host of other spices until it forms a thick paste like consistency and served on top of the fish. I really can’t explain how good that combination tasted and this is definitely something I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit ‘M-Grill’.
