Bahadur Dhaba (Corn Chapattis) Makki di Roti

A popular place for corn (makki) roti. The cornmeal flour (makki k aata) served here is produced by traditional water mills or gharat which is good for health. Must try Maa ki daal with a scoop of ghee.

If you are big fan of makki ki roti and sarson ka saag(serves only in winters) with Desi ghee.they serves makki ki roti with karhi and daal in summers with Desi ghee.

Local Desi dhaba.. All they serve is - masoor ki dal, kadhi, rice and makki ki roti. It's not a fancy dhaba, but the food they serve is quite flavourful. Must try on your next visit to Kasol or Manali.

I would rate the food 5 star. Makki di roti very tasty and crispy with dal and lots of ghee. Very fast service. 80 rupees without ghee and for 100 rupees with ghee. If you want to add ghee more then you have to pay 20 rupees extra every time, but worth it.

Just to inform you, makki ki roti is very healthy and easy to digest. Go there and enjoy the food yourself. Please have a look attached some images

Normally I would be reluctant to step in this relatively humble looking dhaba, but I read raving reviews and decided to give it a try. Now I am so glad I did. Its a must eat place for any way passing on this highway.

Original Himachali Maa ki daal, Kadhi, Missi Rotis done on a wood fired 'chulha'. No frills place. The hygiene is a bit compromised but the taste makes up for it.

Helpful tip - Don’t forget to add a dollop of desi ghee to the daal.
