Surrounded by lofty Himalayan mountains on all sides this Place on the banks of river Chandra is a must stop place for all travellers on Gramphoo - Kaza route.( Only place that offers food and tent accommodation between 17km patch) It offers variety of simple but nutritious food.It also offers tent accomodation (₹100 per person in common tent to ₹1000 for a 4 people tent, which may vary according to your bargaining skills) You can even pitch your own tent by paying a small amount around this dhaba.

Also if take a little trek on the front side, you can also find a BSNL phone booth and a PWD guest house.

Yummy food in the pit stop dhaba, very tasty rice dishes, rajma rice and omelette. You get more snacks and hot ginger lemon honey tea.

The only point of stop between Batal and Grupoo. 1000 INR for a private 4 man tent or 200 INR to stay in the main eating tent. The only toilet is a small outhouse about 10metres away. There is another domitary style guesthouse a few steps away, but it's rather dingy compared to this Dabha.

There is a decent variety of food, snacks, cigarettes and drinks. Only open from May to October, closed for winter.

The main proprietor Lalu speaks good English and gives good advise on the surrounding areas.

Nice Maggie omlet, if bikers are crossing this beyond 2 pm then they should avoid. And stay put in one of these tents. It's safe to be here

A human settlement in no man's land. Once you leave from chandrataal towards manali this is the first settlement you see after batal in chhatru. Serves rajma chawal, kadi chawal which are delicious.
