Actually Small Causes Court is in the 2nd and 3rd Floor of the City Civil Court.The Court was initially housed in the premise at Mangoe Lane. Thereafter, the court was shifted to 2, Bankshall Street. At present, the court is housed in a part of the building of City Civil Court, Calcutta, at 2 and 3, Kiron Shankar Roy Road, adjacent to Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta. There is no proposal at present for a permanent Court building of Presidency Small Causes Court, Calcutta.

Dingy building. Staffs are lazy and unprofessional. The court deals with petty cases especially in tenant eviction cases, falling in the ambit of Presidency Division of Calcutta.
