Located at Alipore. Most important Court of South 24 PGS. Two Special CBI courts are functioning from this compound. Fact track, family courts are also there. Advocate Chambers​, Hotels, photo copying service are available. Auto service is also available, with bus, taxi etc.

When you compare the judges' court with other courts both in Bengal and out of Bengal, then definitely this place offers more facilities, both to lawyers as well to the litigants. But please do not feel bloated over this. This place needs to improve a lot more. This being the oldest court existing in the country needs to be preserved both by the administration as well as by the people who was using the infrastructure of this court on a daily basis. If this is not done at the earliest, then history will never pardon us for letting this magnificent structure decay.

This South 24 Parganas District Judge's Court is the historical and most oldest Court also the famous court of of West Bengal under Kolkata High Court. Freedom fighter Rishi Arobindo's trial was held in this court. Which trial room are conservation for heritage Court room. This Court Records room are very old about 150 years. There is 18th Additional District Judge Court Situated along with many Civil Judge Junior Division, Civil Judge Senior Division Court here. This is the biggest District Court of West Bengal. It's jurisdiction area is along with 12th Police Station there are New Alipore PS, Ballygunge PS, Tallygunge PS, Jadavpur PS, Budge budge PS, Santoshpur PS, Behala PS, Bishnupur PS, Kasba PS, Gosaba PS, Gardenrich PS, Metia Burus PS here.

Very good. There are many court rooms in the District Judge's compound. 1 Dist. Judge's Court, 16 ADJ court, 7 FTC, 1 EC Court, 10 Sub Judge Court, 9 Munsif Court, 2 CBI Court, 1 Consumer Forum & 2 Special Court u/s 409 IPC. Different offices are there. One post office are there. It is the biggest court within Asia continent. There are many shops for fooding. Stamp papers, court fees & different papers are available there. 1 museum is also there.

It is an old place in Kolkata. The chambers of various lawyers need renovation according to a plan. There is crunch of parking space in the court area, specially for people who have to meet their respective lawyers and who come to court for attending to their particular case.

No body likes to go to the court, if not compelled to. But I like the history attached to it. Those rare breed of people still put our blood to boil. Salute to all the bravehearts, the freedom fighters of Bengal.

The place is quite clean. The government officials are helpful and co-operative. I went to Lok Adalat and the Inspectors were very helpful. There is lift inside so people who have issues with stairs can use that. There is cyber cafe as well where xerox and printing can be done. A lot of fast food stalls are there. There is one pay and use toilet at front gate, which was clean enough.
