It was a great experience with 99Taxi.we got the good service from 99Taxi. We had a booked a service from 99Taxi for 6 days. We travelled Darjeeling, Gangtok and Pelling. We got the good comapnion(Driver) for all locations,specially Sherpa from Gangtok location. They are very co-operative,friendly and guided very well. We got the good service in our budget compare to others. We can trust them.Thanks 99Taxi.

Suggestions:- Please suggest/guide to customer before quotation because they didn't know about places and there is so much travelling. If you guided them before if possible then they will know about the planning. :)

Very well coordinated and safe car rental service. You won't feel unsafe even for a moment. We had received service from Mr. Sherpa in Gangtok and I must say he is a great host, a great guide with a very friendly nature. It is the best car rental service.

Prompt and professional service’s. Rajesh was very helpful and accomodating through out the trip and always had the right thing to tell the customers.
1 suggestion though the driver need to be more informed about the toll and parking fees were already included in the package.

I had booked a cab from Bagdogra ->Sikkim -> Darjeeling -> Bagdogra (4Nights 5Days) for my parents. They didn't face any inconvenience. All that was said was delivered. Good job there.

After talking to the local people and drivers around it was understood that pricing was a bit on the higher side. I would recommend 99Taxi to provide competitive pricing to customers.

Although the cars and driving of the drivers was good, travellers take following measures in order to not feel frustrated by this car provider as we felt.

1. Tally the days (and dates) of the itinerary given by 99 taxi with information given by you before leaving. They take things casually (Gave us an itinerary with the return journey to airport one day prior to our actual date of return journey, we realized this after day one of our trip) and then rather than accepting their mistake of not making correct itinerary as per your travel plan, they will blame you for not checking and not finding their mistake. Just for their mistake they made us pay Rs. 2500 more and an evening with fights.

2.99taxi will mention very nice itinerary while giving you quotation. Looking at which you may accept it, but double cross check everyday if the same itinerary is given to drivers. Drivers are given itinerary dropping out few visit spots. It creates unnecessary conflicts on the day of your picnic.
Keep printout of your quoted itinerary.

3.Drivers try to avoid some spots for their convenience. You have to be vigilent with your itinerary. Drivers don't alert you about timings when a certain visit spot gets closed. Neither drivers nor 99taxi inform you on the closing time, you may lose some of thesight seeing for their ignorence. Totally unprofessional.

4. While paying make sure the charges are for air conditioned cars. One of our drivers, when asked to switch on air conditioning of the car, refused to do so saying we will have to pay extra for air conditioning.

5. Cell phones of drivers can't be reached in hilly areas. Becomes very uncertain about how to reach them. At every spot you get dropped of, fix the time and place where you could meet driver.

If you are booking 99taxi, be prepared to argue and fight for every genuine thing for which you paid and we're promised of.

Great service overall! Affordable pricing, Very well maintained vehicle and fantastic quality of driving. Just one feedback to make sure the airport drop is the smoothest of all. But great arrangement.

We travelled in Sikkim and Darjeeling for 7 days through 99 taxi. Entire tour, sightseeing and drop till Phuentsholing border was managed by the 99 taxi.

I must highlight that all the drivers in the entire tour was really professional and safe. The car quality was also pretty good.

I had an overall good experience with 99Taxi. Few hiccups came up in between the trip but those were handled very quickly and effectively. The cars provided were all upto the mark and as requested. I would highly recommend 99Taxi if you want to enjoy a hassle free trip.
