Kedarkantha Base Camp

Kedarkantha Base Camp during April was peaceful. There were around 100 people as opposed to over 3000 people during the busy season of December. We started the hike to summit at 3am in the morning. There was residual snow even in base camp during the first week of April.

This base camp is where reach and rest the day just before the peak summit, you can reach here there from juda ka thalab by noon itself, and have lunch and chill out there the entire night. For best view start summit trekking at earliest morning and be there on the kedarkantha peak before the sunrise, the view of magnifician sun coming out and making the snowy mountains golden in colour is something heavenly. 🥰💯👌

Base camp feels very cold. The views from basecamp is cinematic. Complete the hike as this is the last phase. Enjoy each and every moment over there.

From this base camp kedarkantha peak is visible. Temperature dips below zero at this place. Beautiful views all around. Multiple camps n canteen are available.

#2023 summit of kedarkantha base camp its a 4 km far from sankri . You have to start your trek from sankri . Its also 4 km down from kedar kantha peak .it’s a hard to walk but if you are with a large numbers of memebers in a group than it beacomes easy for you

The camp location is awesome. The place is picturesque and feast to the eyes. Choose your operator wisely so that you wont be having any trouble while the trek. If you choose cheap operators, the amenities will be cheap.
