Corbett Jungle Lore

Looking at the pics of the hotel while booking i had my apprehensions. Is it worth the money? Is it worth staying provided this 2 days trip is the only way out of the monotonous daily life. Once i reached along with my ex college mates after driving for continuous 7 hours all the apprehensions were gone. Calm, Serene, Tranquil are some of the synonyms i would like to attribute to Jungle lore. It has a River to one of its side(Dried through at the time of visit) but the view of it is breathtaking esp. in the morning. Don't expect rooms to be like other hotels with those fancy lights and furniture and this is where Jungle Lore scores one more point with its simple yet entrancing rooms. There is no buffet system in the hotel but you get whatever you order and one adjective "Scrumptious" describes it all. Staff was really friendly throughout our visit and guided us about the nearby places to visit. Meeting your old friends and going on a trip is always pleasurable but staying at Jungle Lore is like adding a Cherry on Top.

Early morning safari recommend at around 5: 30 AM. Get your own entertainment stuff as there's no TV available, anyways no one is here for TV. Enjoy nature at the fullest.

A perfect jungle safari resort away from city life. River flowing backside of cottage, full with greenery, birds chirping around, served with great food. Wish to visit again next year in Jungle Lore, Ramnagar.

Fantastic place away from city, facilities are good u can sit all night there is born fire lightning and at night dear comes all over the resort you can enjoy the whole real jungle with all facilities and food is amazing and staff behaviour is also good they listen what you want .

Must Visit if you like to stay in woods and cottages. The property is surrounded by natural forest. Koshi River flows at the back. Food is Super tasty.
But being a government owned property, It was not properly maintained. Should have been more clean and well lit at night.

I love to visit national parks and Corbett is one of them . This is my second time to visit Corbett. Hotel is not so good as I expected. Rooms are average. I chose premium cottage for 2 nights. Foods quality is ok but the price of the foods are sky high.

Worst experience ever since our uttarakhand tour
Very basic Aminites,Overpriced,
Rooms untidy,seems bedsheets were not changed since months,toilets were uncleaned,flushes were not working,rooms were full of bedbugs lizards and termite.
Very rude and arrogant staff,
We changed the hotel at the very moment we checked in.
1 star coz didn't have a option to give zero

Very nice and effordable place ... even for elderly parents .... I am visiting thisnproperty since 2005
